Avicenna is the Latin name for a famed medieval philosopher doctor whose real name was Ibni Sina, and after whom hospitals are named here in Turkey since we claim him as our own. But then, if you were to ask the Iranians they might have something to say about that and they may well have hospitals named after him there as well since they embrace him as an Iranian. Avicenna was also a renowned alchemist and this outfit is a sort of a continuation of the Alchemist outfit that I had made just before this one. So, again, the black and gold theme prevails.

This consists of a bodysuit on which both ladies and gents can wear harem pants. There is also a rather ornate belt and sleeves with silk floaters, as well as some nice mesh boots. And then there is a helmet that looks a bit like a medieval doctor hat from Europe. So, it is very unlikely that Avicenna would have worn such a hat, more likely would have been a turban. But, I liked the helmet so much they I incorporated it into the ensemble anyway. And not to forget, there are tattoos on the cheeks and the sides of the scalp that are on a separate tattoo layer, so you have the option of wearing them or not.
On the OpenSim Avicenna is available freely at "Ringtail's" on the ShapeShifter region at Osgrid. Click on the link provided at the top of the panel on the right of this post to reach the current location of the Osgrid store.
This is a random collection of pictures that relate to geometry in some way or other, which I combine with quotes from architects, artists, writers and scientists. I initially started this as a test blog for the template modifications that I like to do. But then the whole thing took on a life of its own since looking at these beautiful, structured, orderly pictures gives me a lot of peace; which I hope that you, the viewer, will experience as well.
